“Jardin de Lumière” Short Wedding Dress: Two Looks in One Dress
Covered for the ceremony, free for the party: “Jardin de Lumière” is a short wedding dress delivered with its detachable long lace sleeves. It features an boned illusion corset, a straight bustier trimmed with 3D flowers, and flower, pearl, and sequin embroidery throughout the dress. One dress for the city hall or church, then for dancing all night.
The Detachable Long Sleeves: Cover Up, Then Free Your Arms
The sleeves are made of tulle embroidered with lace and 3D flowers, and end in a floral cuff. They are worn low on the shoulder, in a Bardot-style neckline, leaving the collarbones exposed. A built-in non-slip elastic band keeps them securely in place on the upper arm without slipping. Wear them for a religious ceremony, an autumn or winter wedding, or simply for photos; remove them for the first dance. You get two silhouettes without changing dresses.
The Boned Illusion Corset: Structure Turned Ornament
The bodice is made of illusion tulle. The boning remains visible and creates fine lines that slim the waist and give the dress a modern look. They also support the strapless bustier, even when you raise your arms. Built-in support cups are integrated into the bustier: you do not need a bra.
A Garden of 3D Flowers, Pearls & Sequins
Raised flowers are placed one by one, from the edge of the bustier to the hem, amid embroidery of pearls and sequins that sparkles with every movement. The straight edge of the bustier is highlighted by a row of flowers, like a garland, beautifully framing the neckline and shoulders.
The Mini-Skirt & Lace-Up Corset Back
The skirt ends above the knee, for a light silhouette that lets you move freely. At the back, a lace-up eyelet closure adjusts the support on the big day, and a zipper makes dressing easier. Your dress is already made to your measurements; the lacing adds a final adjustment and a lovely detail in back photos.
For What Kind of Wedding to Choose a Short Dress with Detachable Sleeves?
The Religious or Winter Ceremony
Many churches require covered shoulders, and autumn or winter weddings call for a little more coverage. With its long sleeves, “Jardin de Lumière” meets both needs while remaining a short, modern dress. For other sleeve ideas, see our guide on the 2-in-1 detachable sleeve trend.
The Civil Wedding at City Hall
For city hall, the short length is a real asset: no train, an elegant silhouette in photos, and a dress that retains all the character of a wedding dress. Discover our creations for civil ceremonies in our Civil Wedding Dress collection.
The Evening, Without Changing Dresses
In the evening, remove the sleeves: the dress becomes a light floral bustier, perfect for dancing. That is the advantage of one dress for the whole day. To compare short dresses and two-part weddings, our guide Bohemian Short Wedding Dress for a Civil Wedding helps you choose.
How to Accessorize the “Jardin de Lumière” Dress?
The Veil
A short or mid-length veil in plain tulle completes the silhouette without hiding the flowers on the bustier. Discover our wedding veils.
The Shoes
The short length highlights the shoes: delicate sandals, pearlescent or strappy pumps. Remember to indicate the heel height you will wear in the measurements form.
The Hairstyle and Jewelry
Hair worn down in waves or a soft bun complements the romantic spirit of the dress. With the sleeves, opt for discreet earrings; without the sleeves, a delicate necklace highlights the straight neckline.
