High-Low Satin Wedding Dress with Pearls

We are often asked whether you must wear a long dress for a civil wedding or a secular ceremony. Our answer lies in this asymmetrical creation. The idea here is to break the rules a little while retaining the magic of a true bridal outfit. The very open cut at the front allows you to walk freely and, above all, finally show off your shoes. At the back, however, we chose to retain a prominent train for a dramatic effect as you walk down the aisle.
To achieve this very specific volume, we could not use just any fabric. We chose a premium taffeta with a satin finish. It is a fantastic material because it has a real "shape memory." It wrinkles with great elegance and catches the light spectacularly. As you walk, the fabric comes alive with you, creating couple photos full of movement and poetry.

The bustier work: pearls and traditional lacing

The bodice required a real test of patience from our seamstresses. The fabric is hand-draped, and then we sew on each mother-of-pearl bead one by one. The small bows added to the neckline break up the highly structured look and add a beautiful touch of softness.
And because a strapless bustier must be infallible, the entire internal structure rests on a system of flexible boning. The whole piece is tightened thanks to the lacing at the back. This guarantees a dress that fits your figure to the millimeter, while allowing you to breathe and dance freely.
